Crystal and Diamond Insurance Brokers Limited was incorporated in March 2006 under the Companies and Allied Act 1968 (RC 648032) and is duly approved as Insurance Brokers by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to transact all classes of insurance and reinsurance  businesses.

CHIJIOKE JOSIAH NWAFOR: MBA, ACII, FIIN, FWAII – MD/CEO

Founder & CEO

Mazi Chijioke Nwafor joined the insurance industry on 15th October 1980, having been engaged by the then National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria (NICON). He worked at the Training School, Human Resource, and in 1987 posted to Fire Department when he showed enough interest in technical aspect of insurance. He was drafted to Calabar Branch of NICON in 1993 as the Branch Manager and in 1995 moved to Aba Branch Office.

He was promoted and made the Zonal Manager in charge of the Branches under Enugu Zone, comprising seven branches in the South Eastern part of the country during which period he changed the fortune of the corporation in that Region.

He was later given a higher responsibility of Chief Operating Officer Branch Network in charge of the 58 Branches/Zones of NICON Insurance nationwide, a position he held until 2009 when he resigned to establish Crystal and Diamond Insurance Brokers Limited where he is the Managing Director/CEO till date.

He qualified as a chartered insurer in 1992. A Fellow of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN) and a Fellow of West African Insurance Institute (FWAII). He obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management at University of Calabar, and later an MBA from Imo State University in 2001.

He is a renowned insurance lecturer at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Insurance and Risk Management Department (ESUT) Agbani Enugu and a visiting lecturer at the prestigious West African Insurance Institute (WAII) Banjul Gambia. Mazi was the External Examiner with Insurance Department of Institute of Management Technology, Enugu between 2004 and 2008.

He is one of the pioneer resource persons at the PILA CIIN Tutorial Center Abuja; and Pivots & Achievers Consulting Limited, specializing in manpower development in the insurance industry.

Mazi Chijioke is a Governing Board member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) and also serves in the Education and Training Committee of the Council. .

He has participated in so many local and international seminars and conferences on insurance and insurance related topical issues and has delivered papers at various workshops and seminars.

Mazi is a community leader and a strong believer in human capital development that leads to poverty reduction. He is from Arondizuogu in Ideato North LGA of Imo State. He is a Comrade having led the workforce of NICON Insurance between 1989 and 1993.

Mazi Chijioke Nwafor is married to his wife and friend, Comfort and the marriage is blessed with four boys.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr. Osuji Michael Ifeanyi is The Executive Director of Crystal & Diamond Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is a seasoned Insurance Professional of great repute. His career in the Insurance Industry is lined with great achievements and accolades.

He is happily married with Children.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Mr. Nwosu is the Regional Director (South East Operations) of Crystal & Diamond Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is an experienced and skilled Chartered Insurance Practitioner of repute. His career in the insurance industry has spanned over twenty nine (29) years with records of great accomplishments.

2. BSC (Management) - Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State.

3. MBA (General Mgt) – Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State.

Mr. Augustine Nwafor, although not old in the Insurance Industry he is a very articulated personalized service-oriented legal practitioner. He is charged with the responsibility of giving touch to our legal requirements and/or needs. He is married.
